The MV Dresden is a five-stars ship, owned and operated by Peter Deilmann Cruises. The ship cruises the Elbe River.

Carrying only 106 passengers in 53 cabins the ship is equipped with television, telephone and audio entertainment system. All cabins are similar in size (except for two suite rooms) and each sports a large picture window. Cabins, corridors and dining room are non-smoking areas. All meals are served in one single seating. Additionally, there is a bar, Panorama Restaurant, lounge, gift shop, beauty salon, library, laundry and safe deposit boxes. English language announcements, menus and daily programs are provided.

The MV Dresden was newly built in 1991 and refurbished 2004. Peter Deilmann Cruises offers river cruise vacations since 1983 and has won many awards in the travel press in the last few years, including awards for service, food and the ships itself.
