The MV Mozart is a five-stars ship, owned and operated by Peter Deilmann Cruises. The owner calls her "the most luxurious river vessel in the world". 97 of the 100 spacious cabins are outside cabins with relatively large bathrooms and equipped with telephone, audio entertainment center, color TV, mini bar and of course large picture windows.

Cabins, corridors and dining room are non-smoking areas. All meals are served in one single seating. The ship offers public areas like a lounge, two bars, cafe, beauty salon, library, gift shop, fitness center and wellness spa, heated indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, laundry, safe deposit boxes and conference room. English language announcements, menus and daily programs are provided.

The ship was built in 1987 and completely refurbished in 2004. Peter Deilmann Cruises offers river cruise vacations since 1983 and has won many awards in the travel press in the last few years, including awards for service, food and the ships itself.
